6.2.2 Function without a Return Value

Description:

For a function that doesn’t have a return value, a return-value specification must not be made.

Example:

Specification of a server function

void func(struct ST *ptr);

The function has no input and returns a value in the ST structure indicated by *ptr.

Definition of the server function

func([OUT PTR]struct ST *ptr);
