5.0 LCD API, Driver and Support Software
5.1. Overview
The RLCD2378 kit includes an LCD API, a driver for the Kyocera LCD display, and software for
programming images into the internal flash ROM.
5.2. LCD API
The included LCD API includes basics yet powerful function calls allowing the user to display images and
simple animation on an LCD display. The API also has the advantage of being able to work directly with
bitmaps; no need to convert images into C constant strings.
The API source code is provided free of charge and the source code is included in the demonstration
code and in project generator files listed as “Empty Application”. For more details on how to use the API,
see the LCD API and Driver Manual.
